Marge Mason's Montecito Senior Care is located in an exclusive residential community moments away from Santa Barbara. The Pacific Ocean to the south and the Santa Ynez Mountains to the north provide a comfortable Mediterranean climate year round.

Our six bedroom home lies in the tranquil surroundings of a quiet community with a backdrop of the Santa Ynez Mountains.

Prior to admission, the needs of each client are carefully assessed. During this interview, potential residents, or their responsible parties describe general health, physical limitations and preferences during a "pre-placement" appraisal. A Needs and Services Plan is developed together with the client's physician or other clinicians. Understanding specific needs enables us to set goals and work toward a purpose.

Our mission is to preserve the dignity and enhance the quality of life for those we serve through a caring, stimulating, therapeutic, and enjoyable environment. We offer three incredibly good home cooked meals daily, plus in-between meal nourishment. Some studies show that as many as 25 percent of people now in skilled nursing facilities could be cared for at home with supportive assistance.

Our home is a perfect spot for elders who may need help with social, nutritional, health, and personal care. Our philosophy relies on improving strength, mobility, and dexterity while avoiding the complications of boredom and inactivity.

Marge Mason has been a licensed facility operator since 1987 and is fully qualified to meet the challenges of elder care.
